PLEASE RSVP by April 15th

We first met at a dive bar in San Francisco back in November 2015. I had a Pliny the Elder. Lauren ordered something other than an IPA, citing an allergy to hoppy beers. I thought to myself, ‘this will never work.’ Then I found out she didn’t drink coffee, hated the Patriots and hardly knew Bruce Springsteen... 

Despite the different morning caffeine rituals, sports team fandom and musical taste, we kept spending time together (with a little help from our friends).* Luckily, we share a love of road trips, national parks, beach days, mountains, pizza, puzzles, dinner parties and dance parties. We like to ski, hike, bike
and camp. One of us likes to surf while the other reads. 
We both like each other :)

We are grateful to all of you who have helped us and loved us along the way. *Special shout out to Izzy Marshall, who set us up on that first date, and to Jessica Valente who encouraged me to call Lauren a second time, and to Paloma Herman, who booked us reservations at Frances and Al’s Place and said “please give me credit when you end up getting married because of these dinners!”
